Coaching to unleash growth and potential in ministry leadership

Three Practice Circles provide communities of people with a method by which they can have meaningful, productive conversations about sensitive or difficult matters. Participants in a Circle commit to three simple practices for the duration of the Circle:
1. I’ll be unusually interested in others.
2. I’ll stay in the room with difference.
3. I’ll stop comparing my best with your worst.

A trained Three Practice Circle Referee hosts the conversation so to ensure its structure and maintain its movement. One participant volunteers to speak in response to a frame/prompt for two minutes. At the end of that time, other participants can then ask clarifying questions to which the speaker has one minute to respond.
Three practice Circles are a great space to exercise our curiosity with one another and to practice listening well so as to seek understanding. They are an effective way to have the harder conversations that teams and churches can sometimes face.
